Youth Day at Holiday Hill - 9/22/12
Our Parish youth attended the annual Direct Archdiocesan District-wide event at Holiday Hill in Prospect, CT on Saturday, September 22, 2012. This annual
event helped kick-off the Ecclesiastical GOYA year as GOYAns from New York and
Connecticut parishes gathered for a day of fun, fellowship and food!
The GOYAns participated in ice-breaker activities, played softball,
volleyball, tennis, mini-golf, badminton, bocce, horseshoes and basketball. They swam in the Olympic-sized swimming pool, kayak, canoe or paddleboat on the lake.
They also participated in a dance challenge, sports tournaments, hula hoop, potatoe
sack race, egg toss and pie eating contest. A wonderful buffet was available throughout the day.
